With Mortimer Gleeson and Dr Charles Fitzmaurice Harkin, previous owners of our property, responsible for the establishment of two different wineries decades apart, we instantly knew we needed a wine partner of character and quality. And one with a story to tell too !

 

We carefully selected our friends at Pfeiffer Wines as our wine supplier for many reasons. Its a great location, hugging Sunday Creek, and the staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable. There's also one of the widest selections of whites, reds and fortifieds available.

When you confirm your booking with us, we will 'check-in' with you and confirm your preferences for white or red wine, and where possible, select the grape varietal that tickles your pallet. And when you arrive, the chosen bottle will be there for you. What a great way to relax and start to plan your wine tour itinerary - stopping off at Pfieffer's Vineyard and Cellar Door, of course !

Booking a wine tasting is essential, so be sure to book ahead, and mention that you are staying at Mortimer's Lodge, and the Pfeiffer team will immediately start to prepare for your wine tasting experience.  There are 30 wines to experience, so a wine tour operator is well-advised, or choose your nominated driver.
